THE STORY OF KOSUMA BARS

Kosuma bars were created by Judy Gremaud in her household kitchen when she was unable to find an energy bar that both tasted great and met her family’s dietary needs. Her bars quickly became a hit among family and friends who saw that she had created something truly special and encouraged her to turn this into a business. Judy took their advice and launched Kosuma Foods on May 1, 2012 out of the Western Fair Market in London, Ontario.

As Kosuma Bars quickly gained popularity, Ephie Smith and Meghan Bonk were hired to join the Kosuma team. Three very different women from three very different backgrounds came together with the shared interest of creating delicious, healthy food to impact the lives of others. They worked together to build a business that brought them both pride and joy.

On May 1, 2017, Kosuma celebrated its fifth birthday as both an end of an era and a new beginning. Judy passed the business along to Ephie and Meghan, and moved on to pursue alternate endeavours. Ephie and Meghan continue to operate Kosuma Foods with the same core values on which it was founded while adding their individual flairs to the business. They look forward to serving their loyal customers for many more years to come as they continue on this journey doing what they love each and every day.
